A bike tour of Florence is a unique experience that will help you discover the most of the craddle of Reinassance in the less time and in the funniest way.. Our tour will start from our office on Via Calzaiuoli, right in the centre of the city. It is structured to gather a limited number of participants (max 8 people) each one on board of an individual bike. The tour escort will lead the way and, thanks to our earphones, will drive you through the narrow streets, in pedistrian areas, reaching the most amazing monuments of Florence and unkown spots from where to admire the city: Santa Maria Novella, Oltrarno, the artisans streets, Palazzo Pitti, San Frediano, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, San Niccolo, Santa Crore, Piazza della Signoria, the medieval district, the Duomo, and Piazza della Repubblica! We will stop at several location to relax and enjoy more about the tour and even enjoy a wonderful Gelato or a coffee in the Oltrarno district.

Taking our cue from the pace of Italian country life, we’ve designed a trip that encourages you to stop and smell the flavours of central Italy. Pedal a few easy miles past springtime poppies or golden-hued vineyards, then let your guide shuttle you to one of Tuscany’s famed hill towns for an afternoon of exploring. Come evening, live la dolce vita in great farm estates, dining on Tuscan specialties and savoring world-renowned Tuscan wines.

Famous for its Chianti wines, the magnificent cities of Florence and Siena and its peaceful nature, Tuscany reveals its very soul with placid hills, wide pastures and neatly harvested vineyards and offers the attentive traveler a continuous sequence of stimulating highlights. This wonderful region in the very heart of Italy has always been the preferred aim for visitors from all parts of the world.

Each day brings a new sensation of peace and surprise as one cycles the seven day journey from eastern Tuscany to the very capital of the region, Florence. Bike along the green Tuscan meadows of Crete Senesi where the superb cheese made from sheep's milk is produced, to the wine region of Montalcino, one of the most exclusive wine areas in Italy. Visit many small villages with their charming historical centers, cathedrals and medieval Renaissance town halls such as in Montelpulciano, San Gimignano and Siena.

Besides the culture, you will not be disappointed by the Tuscan cuisine, which is simple, yet overwhelming at the same time.

Your Itinerary Under The Tuscan Sun:

Day 1:
Transfer from Florence to the Tuscan town Montepulciano, located in the heart of the wonderful Tuscan landscape. Relax by the lake, near where Hannibal defeated the Romans in 217. Overnight, Montepulciano.

Day 2:
Bike from Montepulciano to the spa resort of Bagno Vignoni. Upon reaching the small thermal resort of Bagno Vignoni, refresh yourself with a footpath in the hot waters. In the 15th century these waters were visited by Lorenzo di Medici 'The Magnificent'. Continue on to Montalcino with time for a wine tasting. Overnight, Montalcino.

Day 3:
Have time to visit Montalcino and bike to the famous church of Sant'Antimo. Montalcino is the center of the very small and famous wine region of Brunello. This is one of the most famous and expensive Italian red wines. Overnight, Montalcino.

Day 4:
Bike from Montalcino to the city of Siena through the characteristic rolling Tuscan landscape. Sine is one of Italy's most beautiful towns. Spend the rest of the afternoon strolling in the medieval streets of the city, visiting Piazza del Campo. Overnight, Siena.

Day 5:
Cycle from Siena to medieval San Gimignano called la citta delle belle torri or, 'the town of the beautiful towers'. It has completely guarded its medieval quality and is one of the architectural treasures of the world. As virtually everywhere in Tuscany you will find good wine. Try the white Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Overnight, San Gimignano.

Day 6:
Bike from San Gimignano through silver glimmering olive groves and cypress-lined country roads to arrive in Florence. Your hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, a perfect starting point for sightseeing. Overnight, Florence.

Day 7:

Vespa Tour in Chianti 1 Day

Drive along scenic and silent country roads through the hillside of Tuscany on a Vespa scooter admiring the sights, smells and sounds of the Chianti region! We can drive on the more beautiful and panoramic "routes": SS 222 "Chiantigiana", SS A51 "Secret Chianti"

We will pick you up with one of our comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and we will take you, in just a few minutes, to the countryside, away from the busy and husseling city.

First you will receive an orientation conducted by an English speaking trained professional ensuring the safe operation of the Vespa before we head out for our engaging and enjoyable ride. We will drive along quiet and scenic country roads offering splendid views of the rolling hillside and visiting different small medieval villages in the heart of Tuscany and enjoying the most fabulous of the landscapes. Next, we will stop for lunch at a castle* of the Tuscan specialties with a great wine tasting of some of the most famous Chianti wines, locally produced. A truly different way to enjoy Tuscany...on board of an Italian myth!

Take a tour of the Chianti region with a difference - by vespa! It's a fabulous way to see the Chianti region of Tuscany with beautiful vineyards and rolling hills. Chianti by Vespa gives you access to country roads so you'll discover more corners of this world-famous wine producing region of Italy. Ride through the hillside of Tuscany on a Vespa scooter and soak up the sights, smells and sounds. You will be picked up in Florence in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and transferred to the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Each tour begins with a 30 minute "orientation session" so you can practice on the Vespa until you feel comfortable and ready to go out and conquer the famous Chianti wine region in Tuscany on your own. Vespas are limited to maximum 8 on this small group tour, ensuring you'll receive personalized attention from your guide.

Ride along quiet and scenic country roads offering splendid views of the rolling hillside and visiting different small medieval villages in the heart of Tuscany. Next, you will stop for lunch at a castle to taste Tuscan specialties with a little tasting of some of the most famous Chianti wines and olive oils, locally produced.

Return to Florence approximately 4:30pm. Vespas are appropriate for anyone aged 18 and older. You must present a valid drivers license. Note, you do not need a motorcycle license. Children 12-18 years can join the tour as a passenger.

It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing.
