Overview

Requirements:
a camera of any type, willingness to walk with curiosity, comfortable shoes, sun hat.

Purpose of the course:
to familiarize with the Tuscan landscape and its most characteristic views, take photographs, learn how to use your camera to the best with the tricks of the trade explained by a professional photographer, to spend a nice day walking around the best wineries and ancient villages, abbeys and castles.

Length:
about 8 hours, with the professional photographer Paolo Catucci English or Italian language
For groups from 2 to 16 people.

Price includes teaching by Paolo Catucci who will also act as guide during the photo tour, an expert guide driver, a private minivan, lunch and tasting in the wineries. Participants should provide themselves with a traditional or digital camera.

The program:
You meet Paolo at your hotel with an expert guide-driver, they both speak English, and you start the following itinerary:

9:00 Departure from Florence or your location with private minivan, English speaking guide and Paolo Catucci, photographer.
Stop on the scenic Chiantigiana road (Route SS222)
10:00 Arrival at the small castle of Montefioralle, photos to the classic Tuscan landscape. Arrival at Greve in Chianti, visit and photos to the market square and the artisan shops
11:00 Arrival at Panzano in Chianti Visit to the castle, wine tasting and photos in the butcher and in the vineyards
Drive along the typical white road. Walking along the Antinori vineyards at Badia a Passignano
13:00 Lunch at Restaurant La Scuderia in Badia a Passignano or at Restaurant in Greve in Chianti or in a typical winery in Chianti
14:30 Photo tour
16:00 Visit the cellars of Chianti, wine tasting and photos in the cellar and in the vineyards.
17:00 Panoramic stop at Michelangelo square in Florence.

Paolo Catucci: Originally from Florence, at the age of 17 Paolo Catucci first set foot in the darkroom to discover the secrets of black and white photography which still fascinate him today with their soul-enthralling appeal. In 1991 he decided that photography would be his life and he founded IdeaPhoto. In 1998 he produced an important book of photographs by one of the most beautiful castles of Chianti. In 2008 in Sicily and Veneto with his Canon. He is currently engaged in various sectors ranging from landscapes, events in to wedding services.
