Discover Isola, the new face of Milan

On this walking tour you will discover the Santa Maria Alla Fontana church built in 1508 and traditionally attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, and its district called Isola.

Isola (literally “island”), consists mainly of traditional courtyard houses with balconies and numerous Art Nouveau buildings. Traditionally Isola is also home of cultural associations, clubs, meeting areas, and artisans shops, that make it one of the liveliest areas in Milan.

At the end of the tour, you will also discover Modern Milan with the Porta Nuova/Garibaldi district. This is one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Europe. Strolling down the pedestrian walkway overlooking green areas, squares and bridges we will admire the beautiful buildings designed by some of the leading names in contemporary architecture.
