Discover the unusual and mysterious Florence by climbing the Dome

An expert official Tourist Guide will accompany you to the top of the highest building in Florence. During the climb of the Dome, you will have the chance to use the same staircase used by Brunelleschi. On the way up the 463 step staircase, you will feel as going back in time as you go thru the narrow passages of this masterpiece building. Once you reach the top of the “cupola” Dome you will enjoy an unforgettable view of Florence.

This tour will give you the chance to discover the technique used by Brunelleschi from a special point of view: you will be really close to the Frescos decorating the Dome, and you will discover the tools preserved inside the Museum of Opera del Duomo. In order to build the Dome quickly many tools where invented, these tools are still preserved in the Museum of the Cathedral and we will show them during our trip. The extraordinary thing is that many are used still nowadays.
