What’s Included?
We will pick you up at your hotel/apartment in Bologna at 9:15 am in a comfortable minivan/car. We will drive up into the hills of Bologna to our first destination a biodynamic Winery/Farm.
Visit the winery, the vegetable garden, and free-range pigs. After you will enjoy an extraordinary wine tasting with some vegetable from the garden, Mortadella, Salame from the own free-range pigs, Parmigiano Reggiano, and bread.
After we are driving to Savigno, a small village famous for white and black truffles, here we are going to visit a family winery-farm where you will relax for the end of the day beginning with a 5-course Truffle Lunch with wine pairing. (We can arrange also vegetarian, no Truffle menu, and gluten-free lunch.)
Following lunch, Wine Tasting and mangia, mangia…..it is time to burn some calories!
We will have a one-hour truffle hunt with our licensed truffle hunter and his dog. You will see the special relationship between the truffle hunter and his dog and you will learn about the unique symbiosis of truffles and trees.
This will be a truly unique and unforgettable experience to learn about the amazing truffle in a beautiful region of Italy. Come join us!
