Quick Details
Milan is the Italian fashion capital and home for many fashion houses. Its fashion tradition is rooted in the past and linked also to the canals (or Navigli) of the city. This guided tour offers a visit of the charming district of via Tortona. This area, like Soho in London, was one of the new industrial realities in Milan in 1960s.
Recently, artists, creative talents, stylists and designers have transformed the old factories into showrooms, lofts, and cultural areas. In this district, we will visit the museum especially wanted by Giorgio Armani, will admire his creations and know the history of his own career, and that of the Italian fashion, as well.
The tour will end with a short walk through the Milan Canal district, which is now one of the liveliest and most fashionable areas of the city.
Extra costs: an entrance fee for the museum Silos Armani will be requested (the museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday).
